My Cellulite Is Visible, So What?

Cellulite does not only appear in women with a plus-size figure, since more than 80% of women have cellulite after puberty!
There are different forms. Each has its own specificities. Some cellulite is described as recent or mild.
On the other hand, there is so-called “embedded” cellulite, because it is old and more difficult to get rid of.
Called fibrous cellulite, it also has the particularity of being painful.
Why do women have cellulite?
There are several factors that contribute to cellulite. Genes and hormonal changes in women are the main causes.
A woman's skin is thinner than a man's because the structure of her connective tissues is different,
and the percentage of fat is higher in women than in men.
Poor blood circulation, slow lymphatic circulation, fluid retention and a buildup of toxic wastes
are other aggravating factors. 90% of women have cellulite, especially in the buttocks, hips and thighs.
At birth , we often inherit physical or physiological characteristics from our ancestors.
Thus, a woman with a natural propensity for cellulite could pass it on to her newborn . Female hormones, estrogen and prolactin (during pregnancy), would stimulate the accumulation of fat.
Periods of high hormonal activity: puberty, pregnancy, breastfeeding, menstruation, menopause as well as hormonal treatments generally promote the formation of cellulite.
Experts agree that cellulite has nothing to do with being overweight , because even thin women have it.
What does the Lord say?
"God said: Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness (…)
God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them (…)
God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good."
Genesis 1:26/27/31
These variations and changes in the skin of women have been planned by the Lord since the creation of humanity.
This is a normal phenomenon. For God this is very good.
Accept yourself as you are, to reconcile yourself with your body and de-dramatize your imperfections.
